In From The Cold. Low temperature warehouses in Moscow


As the largest Russian city, Moscow is the major consumer of food products, many of which are either imported or regional goods. A large proportion of these shipments require
low temperature warehouses. Such warehouses are also used to store medicine and cosmetic products.
Until 2004-2005 the majority of low temperature warehouses were Soviet era facilities. The development of modern cold storage facilities in Moscow began quite recently.
