Moscow, 27 November, 2014 – AVIAPARK - Europe’s largest shopping mall (GLA – 230,000 sq m) - is to open this Friday, 28 November in the North-West of Moscow at Khodynskoe Pole. With a unique professional concept at the core of the project, AVIAPARK offers an outstanding shopping experience and an enormous variety of entertainment options both for adults and children. This is supported with brand-new and already popular leading Russian and international retailers. AMMA Development is the developer of the scheme, and JLL is AVIAPARK’s exclusive leasing agent.
AVIAPARK is being successfully leased, with only 14% of the total GLA remaining under negotiations at this time. Many retailers’ flagship concepts will be launched at AVIAPARK along with stores opening for the first time in Russia. H&M fast-fashion retailer will open its biggest store in Moscow (4,985 sq m); Anna Chapman will present her new fashion boutique concept, Salvatini will open its first men fashion boutique in Moscow, and Inventive Retail Group will open its second Street Beat sport fashion store in AVIAPARK. Moreover, Paul and Shark, Strellson, JOOP!, US Polo, Cacharel, Armani Jeans, Van Cliff and many other popular brands have recently joined the project.
AVIAPARK embodies a special sports zone - with a GLA over 20,000 sq m it’s the largest one in Moscow. The sports tenant mix includes Alpindustry with its first store in a classical shopping center ever, and Boardriders’s multi-brand store – the first one within MKAD. Sports cluster also to accommodate major fashion sport brands together with the debut Hot-fit fitness centre (3,417 sq m).
AVIAPARK has the strongest anchor tenant mix in the city’s central region, including Auchan’s food hypermarket (22,500 sq m), Hoff’s furniture and household goods hypermarket (10,000 sq m), Debenhams’ department store (8,400 sq m), Media Markt’s electrical appliances hypermarket (6,300 sq m), a DIY store by OBI (15,000 sq m) and Decathlon’s sports goods hypermarket (7,300 sq m), Bazar’s farm food market (1,800 sq m). In addition, AVIAPARK’s visitors will be introduced to a whole range of entertainment tenants, incl. Russia’s first KidZania – the children’s entertainment and education park (8,000 sq m), as well as KARO’s cinema (10,200 sq m) - one of the biggest multiplex in Russia. The 4-storey height sea life aquarium located in the very centre of AVIAPARKSEC will be another destination point within the mall.
