Tommy Hilfiger is to Open the Flagship Store on Kuznetsky Most

Retailer leased 255 sq m in the new pedestrian zone in Moscow

Moscow, 30 June 2013 — The international retailer Tommy Hilfiger signed a lease agreement for the 255 sq m premises in the centre of Moscow, at Kuznetsky Most, 7. First Tommy Hilfiger’ flagship store will open here on August, 1st. Jones Lang LaSalle is the consultant of the transaction.

The new store is located in a historical building on Kuznetsky Most – one of the city’s most prestigious shopping boulevards which houses an elite mix of upscale and luxury retailers. The store will offer the latest selection of Tommy Hilfiger collections, including men’s and women’s runway, sportswear, tailored, footwear and accessories.

Tommy Hilfiger said: “I am very excited to open our first freestanding store in Moscow. Kuznetsky Most seems to be one of the most renowned shopping destinations, close to the Kremlin, Red Square and Bolshoi Theatre. It is the ideal location to highlight our brand’s loyalty to the mix of classic influences with a modern twist. Our new store has a sophisticated and relaxed style, and it perfectly reflects the preppy tradition and youthful spirit at the heart of our brand.”

There are few vacant premises here, but due to the street redesign, now we see a growing tenant rotation – more monobrand stores instead of multibrand ones come to the market. We are confident that the Tommy Hilfiger flagship store located in the area will become a real success both in terms of sales and  the brand image.”

This transaction was implemented by two Jones Lang LaSalle departments – High Street Retail and Retail Tenant Representation.
