Shannon Quilty Appointed Head of Jones Lang LaSalle Retail Property Management, Russia & CIS

Moscow, 11 July 2013 – Jones Lang LaSalle is strengthening the Property Management business with the new strategic appointment. Shannon Quilty joined the company as Head of the Retail Property Management Department, Russia & CIS.

Shannon has an extensive global experience in business and leadership positions with retail and real estate companies. She started building her successful career at Colliers International, California, in 1990, and has held various executive positions since then. In 2007 Shannon moved to Russia to join CBRE as Senior Retail Adviser where she was responsible for bringing international property management standards to local shopping centers. As of 2009 she joined TVOE, the Russian casual-style fashion brand, as Development Director responsible for managing an aggressive expansion plan that saw the opening of 60 new retail stores in strategic locations such as Okhotny Riad and Galleria Aeroport.

Shannon has already been a member of Jones Lang LaSalle team in the USA (2000-2003) as Assistant General Manager working with shopping centres in California and Oregon, and also in Turkey (2010-2012). There as Associate Director in Shopping Centre Management Department, she played a critical role in managing one of Turkey's largest shopping centres, Istanbul Cevahir (110,000 sq m GLA). In 2012 she joined Pradera Retail Fund as Head of Asset Management where she maintained stewardship of Cevahir as well as managing the strategic turnaround of a challenged shopping centre outside of Istanbul.

Shannon has an impressive Property Management portfolio, including the major shopping centres in California (Villa Marina Marketplace, 2 Rodeo, The Avenue of the Peninsula), Turkey (Istanbul Cevahir, Neo Plus) and Russia (Vremena Goda in Moscow, Vernisazh in Yaroslavl, Royal Park in Novosibirsk).

In her new role Shannon will manage Jones Lang LaSalle’ Retail Property Management portfolio with 340,000 sq m GLA increasing each client’s unique property value and secure the new exclusive instructions.

Shannon Quilty, Head of Retail Property Management, Jones Lang LaSalle, Russia & CIS, said: “I’m excited to return to Russia with Jones Lang LaSalle. I look forward to building on the already impressive success of the team through excellent client service and strategic value enhancement of our existing portfolio as well as future projects.”

Retail Property Management is a part of the corporate business line of Property & Facility Management that is headed by Natalia Yakimenko.

Natalia Yakimenko, National Director, Property & Facility Management, Jones Lang LaSalle Russia & CIS, commented: “In terms of construction volume in Moscow and regions, retail is a booming sector now. As there are a lot of new emerging properties and the competition is very high, well-developed and qualitative Property Management is the only opportunity for a shopping centre to win its market niche. We are glad to welcome Shannon Quilty to our team and to make her responsible for this particular and vital sector of our activity. Her wide experience and professional skills in managing iconic shopping centres are highly estimated and prove to be key to our corporate success.”
