Moscow Hotel Market Update January-May 2013

Moscow, June 20, 2013 - Jones Lang LaSalle’ Hotels & Hospitality Group presents the new Moscow Hotel Market Update (January-May 2013).

Following a positive 2012 when each segment saw an increase in RevPAR and when occupancies returned to pre-crisis levels it was expected that this positive trend would continue into 2013. In fact Q1 saw a drop in occupancy across all segments apart from the luxury segment.

We have seen a recovery of sorts in April and May but the poor trend seen in Q1 has left the first 5 months of the year behind 2012 in every segment apart from the luxury segment, in terms of RevPAR.
