New appointments at Jones Lang LaSalle Russia

19th April 2011, Moscow - Jones Lang LaSalle Russia has confirmed the appointments of Valentin Stobetsky and Daniel Demytrie.

Valentin Stobetsky joined Jones Lang LaSalle Russia & C.I.S. on 18 April 2011 as Regional Director, Office Group and a member of the Executive Board. Under his leadership, the firm’s Office group will incorporate the Office agency headed by Alexey Kuchvalsky and the Tenant Representation department headed by Alexey Efimov. These teams are already market leaders, and bringing Valentin on board will allow the Group to further strengthen the existing teams and its market position.

Valentin started his real estate career at Jones Lang LaSalle in 2001, and brings with him a strong background in property and investment management, and an excellent contact base with leading developers and occupiers in the market.
Born in 1975, Valentin Stobetsky graduated from the Moscow State University of Railway Transport with an engineering degree in 1998 and went on to become a member of RICS. He is a Certified Commercial Investment Manager and a Certified Property Manager.

In 2001, Valentin joined Jones Lang LaSalle as senior consultant, and was responsible for building a strong tenant Representation Team in Russia. He eventually headed the Corporate Solutions Team, and later left the company to work client side.

In 2004, Valentin took the position of Vice President, CIS Head of Corporate Realty Services at Citigroup, where his responsibilities included all aspects of corporate real estate, including transactions, asset management and construction.  Following Citigroup job, Valentin joined Intel Corporation in the United Kingdom as EMEA real estate project manager, responsible for real estate transactions across the region.
Jones Lang LaSalle also confirms that Daniel Demytrie has re-joined Jones Lang LaSalle Russia and CIS as a Head of Research.

He will be replacing Evgeny Nadorshin who decided to leave the firm to pursue new career opportunities in investment banking.

Daniel first joined Jones Lang LaSalle in 2003 under a Research Fellowship supported by Kingston University. Daniel subsequently worked for the firm in Europe and Asia, and has acquired experience in markets including London, Moscow, Singapore and a brief time in Tokyo.

Daniel has been part of both European and Asia-Pacific Research teams, focusing on investment strategy in emerging markets. In 2009 Daniel joined Encaenia Corporation in India, the Gulf, and Africa, where he was vice president for new ventures, and managed the company’s Land Banking division in Bangalore. His responsibilities included fund management and venture capital start up, as well as advising foreign investors on market entry strategies and portfolio management.

Daniel holds degrees from the School of Oriental and African Studies London, UCLA and the London School of Economics.
