Development and implementation of a corporate real estate optimization strategy for Unilever

A joint project of the Corporate Strategy and Tenant Representation Departments. Due to insufficiency of the current premises for the needs of Unilever growing business, Jones Lang LaSalle was instructed to provide advisory services on development and implementation of a corporate real estate optimization strategy.

Based on interviews with Unilever top managers, Jones Lang LaSalle assessed the existing buildings and  helped to  define  “ideal property” requirements. Various kinds of alternative scenarios were tested against built-to-suit solutions, purchase and long-term lease of a property. Having made strategic recommendations for the optimum scenario, Jones Lang LaSalle proceeded to identify the particular options corresponded to this scenario

The developed corporate strategy lead to the further fruitful cooperation. Jones Lang LaSalle Tenant Representation Department is now assisting Unilever in implementation process.
